Mmmm Beer: Sprecher introduces Gluten Free Beer

It’s not exactly brewed according to Rhineheitsgebot (the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516 which requires only malt, hops, water and yeast be used) but Glendale’s Sprecher Brewery now has an option for celiacs — people who cannot tolerate gluten in their diet.

Ziegler: Ethics? I don’t need no steenking ethics!

In a ballsy move, Wisconsin state Supreme Court Justice-elect Annette Ziegler is arguing that since she’s been elected to the position of Supreme Court, and since the Court is a fully independent and empowered level of government, she should not have to answer to an ethics board.
