Remember the cult called “Heaven’s Gate”? Their site used a blue Packers-like “G” in their logo. Not to suggest any relation between “Heaven’s Gate” and Green’s campaign. They’re dead. Unlike the campaign.

What does Lambeau Field and Mark Green have to do with one another here? It’s not like Green single-handedly got the Lambeau renovations on the taxpayer dime. It was actually the Packers organization that sought taxpayer funding for the renovations.

One would hope that the Packers franchise would stand up and say that they don’t actually support Mark Green. I would guess that many of the players vote in other states. That and the taxpayers of Green Bay should stand up for the fact that they are still paying for the Lambeau field upgrade and tell Green to take a hike.

Unfortunately, it’s legal. But if he tried to do anything at all similar with the ‘G’, we’d have to call the Packers.
