Sheriff Clarke Brought on Cuts to His Own Department

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, but Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker cut the budget of his political ally, Sheriff David Clarke.

Sheriff Clarke Supports Tax Increase

This week, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke asked the County Board's Finance committee to restore the cuts to his departmental budget that County Executive Scott Walker presented to the board in his annual budget.

According to the results posted on jsonline.com, 5,631 more votes were cast in the Democratic primary for Milwaukee County Sheriff than in the Dem primary for Milwaukee County District Attorney.  Where did those votes go?
