Be A Walker: County Exec uses taxpayer sponsored website for self promotion

Once again, Scott Walker is using taxpayer dollars to promote himself.

But it shouldn’t shock anyone. Scott Walker is a law breaker. He recently got fined by the State Elections Board for not disclosing who paid for an overtly political message he sent out to the constituents of County Board members Walker has on his enemies list. To Walker, the ends justifies the means.

Now he’s using the Milwaukee County website for a play on words. On a webpage entitled “Be a Walker“, and an image that adds “for a healthy Milwaukee County” (an afterthought?) a pedestrian with a posture denoting a back injury is walking aided by the use of a cane.

But what’s the context? There is none. It’s not part of an overall fitness push the Exec is promoting. Once again, Walker is using taxpayer dollars to promote himself. It’s just another example of how Walker is so busy promoting image, that he lacks any substance.

Click here for the webpage. If Walker has it removed now that he’s been busted for it, we’ll publish a link to a .pdf capture of the site.
