GOP Worried about Doyle

JJ Blonien, editor of The Milwaukee Post (a conservative mostly south side newspaper) is worried that Doyle is going to win re-election in his November 2006 battle. Blonien is best known as one of the GOP shills that both Sykes and Belling have had on their shows.

Here’s what Blonien had to say:

Beating Jim Doyle in the governors race will not be an easy job. He has taken the budget issue away, leaving himself more vulnerable on the left then he is in the middle. He has kept his mouth shut on guns, passed on the gay marriage debate except for some small discussions and held the line on state taxes while promising WEAC a raise sometime. He is eliminating jobs that the state added in the last 20 years and has a high approval rating.
