ARGH Matey! Pirates Influence Reynolds v Sullivan race & Reynolds twisted ties with Felon
The Reynolds v Sullivan race has taken an odd turn.
Now State Senator Tom Reynolds is alluding that his challenger, Wauwatosa Jim Sullivan of having ties to convicted felon and former State Senator Gary George. But Watchdog Milwaukee broke the story on how it was Tom Reynolds, not Jim Sullivan, who donated $500 to the campaign to beat back George's recall.

But this piece of campaign literature from Reynolds gets even stranger.
Reynolds has taken a cue from spiced rum character Captain Morgan.
Argh Matey!
To say that Reynolds is drunk with power may be an understatement. With his leg cocked in a Captain Morgan style pose, Reynolds is using the State Capitol dome as a foot rest. Reynolds and Captain Morgan aren't the only ones who are known for lifting their legs.
It could be said that Morgan was staking his claim, or perhaps marking his territory. But was Reynolds actions more those of someone who was coveting something they treasured, as Morgan would have treasured his rum, or treating the capitol more as something that he owned, much like a dog marks his territory.
We can only surmise from Reynolds anti-government attitudes and votes that it's the latter.
UPDATE: Milwaukee Rising has an interesting posting from the Business Journal describing Reynolds as a Printer for Christ.

Let’s hope the voters of the 5th District send this nutty excuse for a Senator on a short walk of the plank.
Arrrrgh.
Building Wisconsin’s Future is hirng Godfrey and Kahn for their attornies to defend them. Who will your attornies be?
If you want to make a threat, back it up with some substance. You and Reynolds don’t have a leg to stand on Dohnal.
Or perhaps you’re suggesting that my posting of a part of Reynolds lit (him lifting his leg on the capitol) is somehow libeling him? If you’ve got a problem with it, you shouldn’t have designed it into his lit.
Hey Dohnal, who is your attorney for your smear of knowingly false info on Sullivan?
The dog’s perfectly legal. It’s obvious satire (Jerry Falwell v. Larry Flynt).
Whatever you do, Donahl, please, please don’t throw us in the briar patch.
It would surprise me, knowing the Godfrey family both personally and as a trust client, if they would take a case from soon to be “ex” Senator Reynolds. They certainly don’t need the money.
