Unfrigginbelievable.

Like sheep being led to the slaughter, several Milwaukee area liberal bloggers are openly questioning whether Republican talk show host Charlie Sykes is finding some balance. Of course he’s not.

Sykes is cynical and loves attention. Liberal bloggers are giving it to him. In the end, he won’t spend time rallying against the gay-bashing ammendment that will be before voters in a fall referrendum. He’ll either spend time rallying for it or he’ll shut his mouth.

Overall his strategy is as a GOP operative and when it comes right down to who fills the seat, he wants an R in the seat. His cause is served by driving out the evangelical (read republican) voters. This ammendment will get them out.

Sykes’ schtick is to present himself as an everyday man; the common man if you will. He claims he’s standing for what’s right but the policies he advocates have nothing to do with the common man. Liberals know this but one post seems to have them questioning what they know is right.

On Sykes’ blog he claims he’s undecided on the gay-bashing ammendment but if he were truly against the ammendment, why did he remain silent until it was already on the ballot? Why did he not devote hours of his radio talk show to how inane and irresponsible it would be to write discrimination into the state constitution?

Hopefully other liberal bloggers (who we can usually rely on for solid insight) will soon remember who their friends are and who has been bashing them for years.
