Rick Graber's name has been synonymous with ATTACK over the past few years where as Chairman, he has led the Wisconsin Republican Party to maintaining their control of the State Assembly, the State Senate and has worked venomously against Governor Jim Doyle.

Now he's hoping to leave for a job as the ambassador to the Czech Republic which he's been nominated for from the Bush administration.  But the question remains as to whether his appointment will be confirmed.

Graber has gotten personal in his attack against Wisconsin's own Senator Russ Feingold.  Why would Feingold vote for someone who clearly lacks any ability to be diplomatic to be an American diplomat to another country?  For that matter, why would any Senator vote for someone who has been as bloodthirsty as Graber has?  In Graber's case his goal is clearly all about winning at any cost but is that the reputation the American people want to continue to have in the world arena?

It goes without saying that the most partisan Republicans will rally to Graber's defense and in all likelihood it will be neo-con Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner whose own politics and governmental approach has been nearly identical to Graber's.

But who will replace Graber?  That much is still up in the air as there are plenty more vampiric extremists in the Republican party who would love to feast on Democratic carcasses.
