I was approached the other day by some well-meaning but misguided folks who wanted me to sign a petition to put Walker on the ballot again for County Executive. I wish I had had a camera to capture the looks on their faces when I told them "Not if he were the last man on earth".

I wish I could get a pay raise in order to "make myself feel better" but I think I would get laughed out of my boss' office!

County government is the biggest waste of money in the State of Wisconsin. If it was shut down today it would still owe 100's of millions to the fat-cat retirees who became quasi-millionaires when they retired. All this mostly on the backs of people working for minimum wage. Scott Walker and the entire County Board have no shame and do not care about the fiscal harm they cause. We should have a vote on whether we want county government to exist at all. Why not? What are they afraid of?

E_Man,
You can sign up at the election commission. Unfortunately you appear to be infected by the Republican misinformation disease. You should do run yourself -- if you win you will see how much the job requires if you wish to be effective. It's a sure fire cure for the disease which you suffer from.

Misinformation Jim,
You are the one confused. He's the one talking about how much of a sacrifice he made.

You seem to be the fuzzy math man. He took a new job which came with a higher salary. I don't see that as a pay raise for a job he still had. He was elected to the CE position. If that job comes with more money it is not a raise from a job he no longer holds. Talk about trying to spin the truth.

$50K for a part time job?? Where do I sign up. I believe Walker is a full time person. And when did getting a new job equal a pay raise?
