Hot Sex, a Love Child and the State Representative Leon Young
I guess what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas.

Wisconsin State Representative Leon Young was gettin’ his groove on with two ladies who not only knew about each other, but they all went to Vegas together. Now one of them has birthed his baby and what does he do — he stays with the other one. So much for character in politics.
There’s a lot of steamy action that’s been going on in politics lately.
Just this week we found out that Republican Newt Gingrich was having an extramarital affair at the time he was busy persecuting Democratic President Bill Clinton for his tryst.
I’ve been critical of Republican talk show host Charlie Sykes for his extramarital tryst in the past so it’s only fair that I take Democrat Leon Young to task. Young may not be married so I suppose it’s not quite as sorid but what’s wrong with this guy? Why couldn’t Young wrap his wanker? Is he allergic to rain coats? Does he have an unnatural fear of latex?
Now if you’re looking for a bumper on this one, Young is not one to disappoint. Now mind you, here’s a guy who’s almost 40 years old, unmarried and a State Legislator so you would think he’s bright enough to keep his love life private right? So with all of this scrutiny you would think he’s at least bright enough to get his newborns name straight wouldn’t you? Nope. The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported that he even mis-stated the name of his child. What, is there another one out there Leon?

Was Newt Gingrich under oath? Was Newt ever ‘caught’ with his affair? Did Newt have several other women stepping forward to accuse Clinton of additional trysts, most of them unwanted? It’s because of actions like Clinton’s while in office that this situation with Young (and even McGee) will never become a big deal and they will be safe in their jobs because our society has become completely desensitized to behavior like this in large part due to Clinton and his transgressions/lies.
I don’t care what party persuasion you share - anybody in public office has to understand they’re going to be in the public eye and held to account for their behavior. Like it or not - those are the realities.
This is nore than a speeding ticket. If it wasn’t so serious it would be hilarious. Imagine taking off to Vegas with BOTH of your girl friends? Woo hoo - libido unleashed!
Young (and others who behave so badly) are bad role models. Their behavior is inexcusable and they should be held accountable at the polls.
And yet Clinton remains one of the most popular presidents of all time. Maybe that’s because he isn’t a loathesome, hypocritical moralizer like Gingrich.
I have met Leon a few times through a mutual friend (not one of the two ladies) and it is quite clear he likes to party. It looks like it caught up with him. It is too bad we are all human and each have our own weaknesses.
Yeah, the fact that Clinton still is popular is a direct reflection on many liberals who have loose/zero values and morals. You slam Newt but worship Clinton, the double-standard is almost unbearable.
In fact, I never said I worshiped Clinton. You read something into my post that wasn’t true. I also find it amazing that Clinton is so beloved. But thats based on polling of the american public. Not just liberals. And certainly not my opinion. I will admit that I have a special distaste for Gingrich, just as you do for Clinton.
