Clarke’s incompetence could cost county millions
Sheriff David Clarke‘s incompetence in running the county jail could cost the county millions of dollars, as lawyers for maltreated inmates seek a prosecutor to go after fines of up to $5,000 for each of the 16,662 violations of a consent decree regulating conditions in the booking room.
Go, Dave, go…..elsewhere, preferably.

The consent decree in the Christianson case came before Clarke’s time. As with Walker in other areas, it’s beginning to seem as Clarke cannot an imagine that there was a Milwaukee County before he took office, ignoring a lot of hard work in the criminal justice reform area that took place in the 1990′s.
Yes Dave, go from the county, please. Maybe they’d welcome you in Waukesha County, where most of your campaign cash comes from.
Listen folks, Look at who clarke has around him helping him make decisions. His Inspectors ( #2 guys) One shot his partner in the leg, tried to hide it by changing the barrel on his duty weapon- then when it was done- got promoted to Sergeant and became a YES man. The other guy was a PERMENANT Sergeant temporarily promoted to Captain who has temporarily promoted to Deputy Inspector who was then permanently promoted to Inspector. These people are the worlds largest “yes” men. While King Dave is out of state “on officail business” charging tons to the county the cronies run the department. None of them can run a JAIL. One forgot what the jail is really for and how things are SUPPOSED to be done. The other has blown so much smoke of Dave’s keester that he too, lost sight of what the task at hand is. And Dave, this isn’t PPS at MPD. This is a COUNTY JAIL, a COUNTY COURTHOUSE, and COUNTY HIGHWAYS– You HAVE to staff them to PROTECT THEM. I’m ranting, King Dave makes me sick. I need to lie down. Peace.
You hit the nail on the HEAD. Maybe King David needs to read this to understand what is going on. Maybe his YES MEN could do the same if they ever pull their heads out of you know where.
Amazing this guy (Clarke) is being manipulated by County Executive Walker to make gains in his (walkers) run for Govenor. Both guys are all about zero. As long as the answer is zero this is what they are about.
Now to Clarke. This guy has done nothing for the Sheriffs Dept, The County, or the Community in General. He has manipulated money for the keeping of his G.R.I.P. unit at the expense of posistion and jobs. Milwaukee county has not approved money for G.R.I.P. Clarkes answer to get money cut from the Freeway Patrol, Witness Protection, and finally cuts in courts security. All money shifted to G.R.I.P.
This Fraud On the Community (Clarke) has taken a once proud law enforcement agency and slapped all its current and past members directly in the face. Retired deputies who served for 25-30 years with pride, now look at department, that they put a good portion of there lives, go straight down the sewer. Thanks to Sheriff David Clarke. Who promised to enhance the department by his outstanding leadership abilities. A true leader gains the respect of his underlings in putting forth his vision. Clarke has ruled with intimidation and in no way gains the respect of those under him.
He calls this Command and Control. David Clarke intimidates with the placing of fear in all deputies. For $130,000 a year Clarke is nothing but a phony that the citizens of this county should send packing this September.
