Dems Cut Losses with Lieberman Ouster
GOP wingnuts are busy spinning the primary loss by Joe Lieberman as a bad thing for democrats.
They're delusional.
Democrats have pursued a policy of appeasement when it comes to battling the GOP on issues. They've failed time and time again in multiple elections to make headway toward recapturing the majority. With the ouster of Lieberman, the democrats sent a message that they're tired of losing. They're tired of appeasment. They're tired of democrats like Lieberman who says there's not an inch of difference between him and Republican President George W. Bush.
If democrats would have voted in a man who says there's not an inch of difference between him and Bush, then why run as a democrat? Why condemn yourself to a permanent minority status?
So congratulations to Conneticut democrats. You are patriots and here at Watchdog Milwaukee, we salute you.
