Help Iraqi Children - Donate Clothes, Toys to an American Soldier
A local woman sent this on to me. You can make a difference and improve the relationship between Iraqi children and our troops.
My 23 year old brother is serving time in Iraq and all he can write about are the children over there and how some of them have no clothes or shoes and if they do they are torn and very dirty.
Jerrod's main job is to comb the roadways for bombs so that the convoys are not hit on their way from Kuwait to Bagdad. He often goes into the city of Safwan to interact with the locals; especially the children. His little girl just turned one last week so being with them reminds him of little Reagan. His interpreter has started calling him "The Master of Kindness" because Jerrod is always armed with food, clothes, shoes and toys.
If you have some clothes, shoes or toys that your children have grown out of and would like to get rid of them, I will be more than happy to pick them up.
(if you are in the Bayview,WI area) If you would like to send them to Jerrod personally, that too would be greatly appreciated. (bulk rate is the cheapest and they don't charge extra for it going overseas.)In either case you can contact me at stephanie_konen@hotmail.com.
Thank you so much!!!

i have loads of used clothes to donate, wondering if you could pick them up. im from the leeds area
We’ve donated some clothes, it’s amazing how many articles of clothing pile up. This is for a good cause and you should be able to find some local drop off points.
I have clothes and shoes to donate but where do I send them?
