State Senate Minority Leader Judy Robson
Judy Robson
The 2005-2006 session finally ended with 4 failed attempts to override Governor Doyle's vetoes and that failure exemplifies this session by both houses which are controlled by Republicans. Republicans went from shock and awe to shockingly awful. We have star candidates. We have an agenda. Taking back the majority means politicians in Madison will stay out of doctor-patient offices. We need 3 seats to do it. We have history on our side. We have an open seat in Racine and we have John Lehman who is running… against a guy who flip-flops. In Eau Claire we finally have a candidate to replace David Zein. Pat . And speaking of out of touch — enter Senator Tom Reynolds. You'll remember him as the person who asks job applicants if they are virgins. … we have a candidate against him named Jim Sullivan. Sullivan runs not only a Republican, but a man who represents a cult. In Sheboygan we have Jamie El….? Running against Senator Liebam. In Eau Clare we have Republican Ron Brown who has mastered putting Republican interests above his district. … so much so that there are two candidates (Kathleen and Chris) who will have a primary. Don Simonson will run against Majority Leader Dale Schultz. Ardene Rockwell is running against Neil Kedzie. The numbers are breaking in our direction. In 2004 Senator Feingold won in every one of these Republican seats. Democrats will win with hard, hard work. Failure is not an option.
I'll fill in the missing names later. Delegates are rushing to their seats. Feingold is up next.
