VoteVets has an incredibly hard hitting ad they would like to run against Republican Congressman Rick Santorum.  VoteVets is made up of veterans of the Iraq war and the conflict in Afghanistan who are insensed that Santorum turned his back on our troops by voting against giving them body armor before sending them off to fight.

I guess troops are cheaper than vests in Santorum's view.  It sounds a lot like the movie Braveheart where Cromwell sent in the Irish to attack the Scotish because "arrows cost money".  Sending in our troops to soak up all the enemies bullets is no different than what Cromwell did in the movie.
