As for midnight last night, Wauwatosa foodies can breathe easy knowing that smoking is now illegal in Tosa restaurants.

Over a year ago, Wauwatosa Alderman, now candidate for State Senate Jim Sullivan and others, were successful in fighting for the change to the Tosa ordinances to outlaw smoking.  Just last Tuesday the Surgeon General presented a speech entitled “The Health Effects of Secondhand Smoke” and said it was "beyond any doubt that secondhand smoke harms people’s health".
