Glen Grothman “Fighting for Us” t-shirt
As I was leaving Home Depot yesterday (one of my many trips with this remodel), there was a 40 something year old balding white guy walking in with a t-shirt that said “Glen Grothman, Fighting for us”.
It was amusing.
So what’s going through this guys head, I thought to myself.
Grothman is very much a neo-con who votes against pretty much all urban initiatives. Voting anti-Milwaukee is not exactly “fighting for us”. Now don’t get me wrong — I find Grothman to be amusing and while extreme, at least sincere and in an odd way, likeable. But likeability doesn’t mean he’s able to look at the big picture or see much more than what Fox News, talk radio or the GOP talking points tell him to consider. Then again, maybe Grothman is the real deal and truly believes in the stuff he’s spouting and doesn’t listen to talk radio which gives several GOP legislators their marching orders.
UPDATE: Grothman was one of the few Senators who had the smarts to vote against SB 80. He may be a neo-con, but Grothman was right on with this vote. Thank you Senator Grothman.

I came upon your web site while looking for Senator Glen Grothman. I saw him last evening on the Lou Dobbs show being hosted by Kitty Pilgrim currently. I wanted to personally thank him for the stand he is making against the illegals invasion in your state. I hope that the good people in Wisconsin appreciate his efforts. I also hope he stirs something up across our country on a state level, so that perhaps the state government will remind the federal government that a team effort is required.
I live in a “safe haven” state for illegals and we don’t have any politicians speaking out on behalf of the citizens of our state. And as citizens of this state, illegals are given preferential treatment over us consistently. It’s horrible and un-just.
And on top of the insult, we are expected to give illegals full benefits that we can’t even afford for our families. So our taxes go up, illegals are paid under the table, our taxes buy them full benefits, and our people lose their jobs because all sizes of business entities don’t want to pay minimum wage and taxes for American workers. The illegals in this state send most of their money to Mexico or their home country. And adding more injury, are streets are filling up with drugs and crime. And in my home state, they are soon to be given drivers licenses.
Most Americans have figured out by now that the reason our borders were left wide open after 9/11 and the laws of our land regarding illegals have not been allowed to be enforced, is due to our policy makers at the top fully supporting our invasion. The want the illegals here.
This could easily be stopped, if when illegals broke into our country they were shot, like action you can legally take to defend your home from an invasion, employers were fined, no benefits were given to illegals, and the 14th amendment added the revision that children born to illegals are not American citizens.
So, good people from Wisconsin, thank your lucky stars for Senator Grothman! Hopefully he will help your state from becoming a “sanctuary cess pool†like my state has sadly become.
America belongs to our good citizens not Mexico! When in America…speak English!
