You would think that after their spanking this fall that the GOP would realize that something they were doing was not going over with the public.  For instance, Republican activists including bloggers and talk radio show hosts continue to call Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle "Diamond Jim" — a snarky allusion to the Democratic Governor's fund-raising. 

But the Wisconsin public isn't interested in that style of pettiness.  It's gotten old.  Worse yet, for the Republicans, they're no longer believable.

So keep up the smarmy name calling GOP.  Next time you'll be handing over the Assembly to the Democrats as well.

Four more years of childishly mocking our Governor will just help him to earn yet another four years if he wants them.
