Changes at Watchdog Milwaukee

There are big changes here at Watchdog Milwaukee. It’s my honor to announce that Janice Eisen has joined Watchdog Milwaukee as our new Editor.

Eisen replaces our former editor, John-david Morgan who has moved on to less politics and more of the arts scene. We wish John-david all the best.

Eisen brings a breadth of experience to Watchdog Milwaukee. After studying political science at MIT, Eisen went on to work as a Budget and Policy Analyst for the Massachusetts Department of Public Welfare where she specialized in homelessness, food stamps and refugee assistance. She has worked on many campaigns and has also written as a Community Columnist for the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Eisen is currently a freelance writer living in the Milwaukee area with her husband, two sons and two cats.

Welcome Janice !

Our second business issue is one you probably already noticed — we are now available just by typing in watchdogmilwaukee.com

We will also be looking for a plugin to limit and automatically delete any comments longer than 300 words. Comment functions are made to comment on an article.

Finally, a special thanks goes out to our friend David Reid from urbanmilwaukee.com whose technological expertise has been key to this rollout. Dave’s work has allowed us to move the blog and make so many of these changes look seamless. I look forward to working with Dave both on this project as well as future projects.
