Extremist Pastor? McCain sees him as a Spiritual Leader.
While republicans condemn democrat Barack Obama for the words of his former pastor, nothing is being said about who the GOP nominee, John McCain, is cozying up with. In this video clip, McCain calls Pastor Ralph Parsley "a moral compass, a spiritual guide". Parsley say Islam is the greatest religious enemy of the world and America's purpose is to see Islam destroyed.
McCain has yet to reject Parsley. And we're still talking about a former (keyword former) pastor of Obama why?

Just because McCain asks for their endorsement doesn’t mean that he believes or supports everything they believe or say.
Bill, clearly you didn’t watch the video. McCain is lauding this guy and hasn’t, by any definition of the word, distanced himself. When this sort of thing is so easy to find on the internet, why is it that the media spent two weeks on Obama’s pastor? Would it not make sense to focus two weeks on McCain’s connection to Parsley? At least Obama condemned Reverend Wright’s comments. McCain has remained silent on Parsley.
McCain’s reaction is much more egregious.
Parsley is spot on about Islam. Most American’s belive exactly what he does. I don’t think it hurts John McCain at all. Parsley for National Security Adviser?
