Hillary Clinton Nominates Obama With Class

Senator Hillary Clinton just made a motion to nominate Senator Obama as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States by acclamation.

And thus it ends — within a minute of her motion, Senator Obama became the nominee.

Amid smiles, cheers and admiration, today was not only the day that Obama became the nominee, today was the day that Senator Hillary Clinton cemented herself as a voice of unity for democrats as well as a party leader.

Congratulations Senator Obama — and congratulations Senator Clinton.

Yeah, that really was a nice moment. It’s good to see some party unity for a change.
