Mourning John Edwards
A few days have passed. The one candidate who was running who I felt inspired and spoke to my interests is gone.
So now I need to ask myself the question, do I go with the person whose works inspire or do I go with the person I know can kick ass in the general?

The inconvenient truth is that Edwards, by far, was the best qualified, most experienced candidate in the Democrat race. He would have beaten ANY Republican. Unfortunately the media, and democrat voters are obssessed with vanity over substance.
And the same could not be said about Reagan in the 1980s? Edwards’ problem is that he is too substantive for voters, though people like us love that about him. Americans don’t want a substantive legislator in the oval office; they want a president.
The choice for us is rust simple. We live in Milwaukee, about as urban and rust belt as it gets. The smart, honest, well-spoken guy from Chicago is our man. Barack Obama all the way.
