NerdWars: GOP hijacks Dem website
Chalk this one up to clever nerds doing what they do but web surfers who think they’re about to go to the Wisconsin Democrats page get redirected to the Ron Paul for President site.
Visitors to Wisdems.com (the real site for the Democratic party of Wisconsin is wisdems.ORG) were surprised to find themselves shuffled over to the GOP candidates site ronpaul2008.com.
So who is behind this amusing redirect? GOP nerds. Apparently they’ve got better technogeeks than do the Dems. A simple lookup from who owns the page shows that the contact address is contact@wisgop.com

Umm.. I don’t suppose it occurred to you that wisgop.com is not the Wisconsin GOP website? The wisgop.com site also links to a pro Ron Paul site.
The next time you are running around chasing conspiracies, you may wish to put a bit more effort into it.
