Comparing mothers who breastfeeding mothers to “sows”, conservative talk show host Mark Belling once again crossed a line. Today that line was common decency.

Whatever talk show listeners are looking for, I like to think that insulting motherhood isn’t one of them. What’s next? Apple pie? The flag? Our troops? WISN should discipline Belling by at least giving him an unpaid suspension. Afterall, that’s what happens with the majority of the private sector when someone spouts off with a sexist innuendo. Belling’s comments weren’t simple innuendo, they were a direct insult to an overwhelmingly large portion of the population.
