Sour Grapes from former Senator Tom Reynolds
Seems like former Senator Tom Reynolds is having trouble letting go.His rambling post at Bob Dohnal's website ostensibly takes aim at the special interests that conspired to steal his relection. Too bad, how sad.
Reynolds needs to be reminded that he lost his own election, fair and square, with his own bad behavior and naive handlers.
For all of his grousing about special interests, he strangely seems to have forgotten the sordid details of his bungled campaign last fall.
- Lesson number one – Show-up for a debate. Don't behave like a deer caught in the headlights. Show some courage or grow a pair.
- Lesson number two – Stick to the issues. Don't swamp the mail boxes of your constituents with your same tired and worn out excuses.
- Lesson number three – Don't threaten the First Amendment rights of your constituents. That's particularly childish.
- Lesson number four – Listen to your constituents. Pandering to your own weird and exotic personal agenda and that of the extremist right will surely put you out of the mainstream and unpalatable to the majority of the voters – including mainstream Republicans.
Nobody "bought" this election. You lost it. Get over it and best wishes in your retirement.
